Pafow 2018 trailer
Thanks to all who participated in People Analytics & Future of Work 2018 and making the gathering what it is today, a uniquely valuable experience that both educates and inspires. To continuing to make great things happen!
PAFOW 2018 SUMMED UP!
David Green, Ben Teusch and Arun Sundar summarise their experience of PAFOW 2018.
Yes, it’s a slightly grandiose title: it might make a few people smile; it’ll probably make many more sigh. Some may even consider it Lincolnesque(!), but the People Analytics & Future of Work (PAFOW) conference that took place on 1-2 February in San Francisco definitely deserves such a lavish title.
In my three years first attending and now co-chairing PAFOW, the conference has always stood out from the crowd as being the richest for content, shared learning and participative collaboration amongst delegates. That is down to the environment of trust and curiosity that has been created by Al Adamsen and the PAFOW team. The latest edition of PAFOW was the best yet, and every delegate I spoke to during and after the event concurred with that sentiment.
Jetlagged musings…thoughts from PAFOW 2018
I am just back in lovely Singapore from the PAFOW (conference in SFO). The battle between priorities will now be complemented by the battle between my body’s time zones for the next few days. However, the 50 hours of travel and time invested was absolutely valuable and I would do it again without a whim! The two-day conference deliberated and recited some extraordinary stories, deep thinking and most importantly the pressing matters that space needs to address. A closer analysis of the content of the conference points towards a new phase of maturity in #PeopleAnalytics. An illustrative example would be the ability of the conference to elicit the growth in the #ONA space.
Recap: People Analytics and Future of Work 2018
I had a chance to attend People Analytics and the Future of Work again this year, and Al Adamsen and David Green outdid themselves. They packed the conference with leading practitioners who are also excellent speakers, and added a sprinkling of new technology from vendors on the cutting edge of this space. As great as the content of the conference was, I probably gained even more from the new connections I made and the existing connections I strengthened. As conferences go, PAFOW has the highest quality of discussion and depth of experience among the attendees.
